Taking time to be cozy is more than just enJOYable, it is very good for your health.
Anytime that you can calm the mind and rest the body, you are doing wonders for your health.
Being cozy helps to soothe the soul, ease the stress on the adrenal glands (fight or flight is turned off), calms the mind, lets the body rest, and so much more.
But do we really need an excuse to be cozy? No!

. use a heating pad anytime of the day (I have one on my body right now)
. a hot cup of tea or cocoa
. a soft comfy blanket
. a fire or even a video of a crackling fire
. beautiful smells like cinnamon and spices that warm the heart and soul (make sure these are not toxic scents but natural)
. a good book
. a nap
. a kiss on the cheek
