Isotonix Delivery System

Isotonix – the World’s Most Advanced Nutraceuticals
Isotonic, which means “same pressure,” bears the same chemical resemblance of the body’s blood, plasma and tears. All fluids in the body have a certain concentration, referred to as osmotic pressure. The body’s common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of body tissues. In order for a substance to be absorbed and used in the body’s metabolism, it must be transported in an isotonic state.

Isotonix dietary supplements are delivered in an isotonic solution. This means that the body has less work to do in obtaining maximum absorption. The isotonic state of the suspension allows nutrients to pass directly into the small intestine and be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. With Isotonix products, little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient while delivering maximum results.Click image for larger view

Ingredients

Bromelain 544 mg
Bromelain is a mixture of enzymes found in the stems of pineapples. It is distinct from the bromelain found in the pineapple fruit. Bromelain is used as a meat tenderizer in one application, but has other mechanisms that support various aspects of health.* As a mixture of proteases, bromelain has been used by Europeans for many years for its support of normal inflammatory response. Its components work to help support the body’s normal inflammatory response and support the healing process. This is important for healthy joint function and adequate tissue repair, which supports the body’s normal recovery process. Because these proteases can interfere with parts of the inflammatory cascade, supplementation may help to promote normal recovery after intense exercise.* Bromelain has been extensively studied, both in experimental models and clinical studies, for its effects on the inflammatory response. Research also shows that bromelain may help support healthy blood viscosity and blood platelet aggregation, promoting healthy circulation. It also supports normal levels of fibrin in the blood, which promotes normal healing.* Another study provided support of bromelain for promoting overall general well-being, along with support of comfort and physical function. There is also support for its role in promoting healthy cells. Bromelain also works to digest protein, but when taken on an empty stomach, it is not used as a digestive enzyme, but provides systemic effects throughout the body.*

White Willow Bark 100 mg
White willow bark is the bark of the salix tree which is native to Europe and Asia. Its name comes from the color of the leaves, which are covered with white hairs. White willow bark has been traditionally used for many years, dating back as far as the ancient Egyptians who used it for its health properties.* Willow bark constituents include flavonoids, tannins and salicylates. The active constituent of willow bark is thought to be salicin. In the body, salicin is metabolized to salicyl alcohol and then to salicylic acid. White willow bark has been shown to support normal blood platelet aggregation and promote healthy blood flow.*

Protease 70 mg
Proteases are proteolytic enzymes that work to break specific peptide bonds or break down a complete peptide to amino acids. Oral proteases taken on an empty stomach are absorbed and carried into the bloodstream where they work to help maintain healthy cellular proteins. As systemic enzymes, proteases support the body’s normal recovery process.* Combined with bromelain and white willow bark, the proteases help promote the body’s normal inflammatory process and support normal healing.*

FAQs

Who should take Isotonix Bromelain Plus?
Isotonix Bromelain Plus is formulated for everyone, every day. Its unique combination of benefits – supporting the body’s normal ability to repair itself, promoting the body’s normal healing process, promoting optimal cell health and more – make it ideally suited for adults looking to keep their bodies healthy and to help support the body’s ability to deal with the wear and tear of everyday life.*

How do you take Isotonix Bromelain Plus?
As the directions suggest, pour 3 level, white bottle capfuls of powder into a cup. Add 6 fl. oz./180 mL (line on the overcap indicates 2 fl. oz./60ml) of water and stir. As a dietary supplement, take once daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. Maximum absorption occurs when taken on an empty stomach. This product is isotonic only if the specified amounts of powder and water are used. Do not take with food.

Where does bromelain come from?
Bromelain is found in every part of the pineapple, although it is most plentiful in the stem. Most commercially-grown pineapple is sliced, canned or juiced. The remains are rich with this substance, which is then extracted. Originally used as a meat tenderizer because of its ability to break down proteins, research now shows that powdered bromelain promotes health.*

How does bromelain work to support cell health?
Some cells in the body “disguise” themselves from the immune system by using a protein layering as a shield. Protease enzymes like bromelain help support your immune system in detecting these cells. These enzymes help support your body’s ability to engage in a so-called “cellular house cleaning” important to the maintenance of cellular health.*

I am a very active individual. How does Isotonix Bromelain Plus support my body’s normal ability to repair and heal?
Physical activities such as sports, jogging, weight training, aerobics, and martial arts can cause mechanical stress to connective tissues or the normal buildup of pro-oxidants. Isotonix Bromelain Plus is a concentrated blend of powerful protease enzymes designed to support a healthy inflammatory response, and the normal tissue and recovery repair process. This process promotes your body’s normal healing process and keep up your daily regimen.*

Should I take Isotonix Bromelain Plus with Isotonix Peak Performance Blend?
Isotonix Bromelain Plus and Isotonix Peak performance Blend complement each other nicely. Isotonix Peak Performance Blend will help support your joint function and mobility, as well as the body’s normal repair and healing process.* Isotonix Bromelain Plus supports your healthy inflammatory response and normal healing and tissue and recovery repair process. My Sunshine 🌞 Drink Recipe

So many people have asked me for this recipe

Every day I start my day with this drink. After drinking this delightful concoction, that I fondly call “My Sunshine Drink”, 🌞 I drink my straight celery juice and then my Isotonix Vitamins, that I have been taking faithfully for 23 years now.

I love starting the day with my Sunshine Drink 🌞. It started off as warm lemon water but now I have evolved it to a threesome of citrus fruits along with honey.

I have made a short video to show you exactly how I make my Sunshine 🌞 Drink.

Here it is, just click on the arrow and enJOY.

I hope you find this helpful and if you want more info on how to make celery juice and why it is beneficial you can learn more here:

Amazing Help For Your Liver!

The primary functions of the liver are: Bile production and excretion. Excretion of bilirubin, cholesterol, hormones, drugs and metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. The liver is also the master filter used to disarm and detain harmful materials, screen and filter the blood, store glycogen for use as glucose in the body, and much much more!

However, today I want to touch on the role the liver plays in protein and fat synthesis. People tend to eat a lot of protein and most of that protein is also high in fat! Even nuts and seeds have fat content along with the protein. Although these protein sources might be healthier to some degree than animal protein for example, they, along with animal protein are high in fats.

When you combine large amounts of fats and proteins, in conjunction with the myriad of other issues our livers deal with everyday like pathogens, viruses, pesticides, herbicides, perfumes, scented candles, toxic cleaning products, stress, and the biggie heavy metals, our livers are overburdened and cannot keep up. This is why it is estimated that about 90% of the population in North America has a fatty liver or at least a sluggish liver.

This brings me to the point of my blog post today. I have found something that I love for helping with protein synthesis to help support the liver and overall health and well being. I am sure we have all heard of the enzyme bromelain? If you have not heard of that term, I am sure you know what a pineapple is? 🙂

Here is the best part about bromelain when it comes to the liver:
Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme derived from the pineapple plant that has a centuries-long history of being used to treat medical ailments, primarily throughout Central and South America. It is currently categorized as a dietary supplement, and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA

Enzymes like bromelain are so important and also help the body function properly, trigger the production of hormones and muscles and support a healthy metabolism (think weight management here).

When the liver is able to assimilate and break down the macro nutrients like proteins, carbs and fats, it functions better and burns fuel better. What this means is that we become healthier in every cell of our body, we can uptake the micro-nutrients likes vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, and we burn fuel properly!

I truly believe that one of the keys to health, and perhaps the biggest key, is to support our liver and to help it function optimally. Anthony Williams, The Medical Medium has dedicated an entire book to liver health and it’s called “Liver Rescue”.

Here is a paragraph from one of Anthony’s blog posts on liver health:

“Your liver is an amazing, powerful and hardworking organ. When it’s not doing well—when you have sluggish liver or fatty liver or its bogged down by toxins or too much protein or fat in the diet—that’s a big part of the root of just about every condition and symptom under the sun, including: acne, adrenal problems, autoimmune disorders, brain fog, chemical food sensitivities, diabetes, constipation, dark circles under the eyes, emotional issues, fatigue, gallstones, gout, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, hormone problems, IBS, inflammation, body pain, jaundice, aging, liver cancer, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, insomnia, cysts, methylation problems, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), SIBO, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, varicose veins and weight gain.”

*****************

There are many things one can do to support the liver and bromelain is one of my favorite go-to’s because of it being a Proteolytic enzyme, also called protease, proteinase, or peptidase, any of a group of enzymes that break the long chainlike molecules of proteins into shorter fragments (peptides) and eventually into their components, amino acids.

MORE BENEFITS:

Other added benefits of the Bromelain Plus product I am referring to and use with my clients is:

  • Supports the body’s normal healing process
  • Promotes optimal cell health
  • Supports the body’s normal inflammatory response
  • Supports the body’s normal tissue and recovery repair process
  • Supports a healthy immune system
  • Supports healthy joint function
  • Promotes healthy blood circulation

Another reason I love this product is the delivery system. You actually get to drink this product! Yum. Yum! In fact I am drinking my morning dose right now. I usually shoot for twice a day with this supplement.

With Isotonix products, little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient while delivering maximum results.

And as it gets even better. There is also white willow bark in the supplement. Willow bark comes from the willow tree (Salix species). The bark contains salicin, a compound chemically similar to aspirin. Salicin is metabolized in the body to salicylic acid, which is a precursor to aspirin. The herbal extract became popular as a remedy to relieve pain, inflammation, and fever. More bonuses here!!! 🙂
