The Time is Now …. to let it go….

One of the best things that we can do for our health, right now, is to let go of any anger and resentment we have for anyone or anything.

I am not going to pull up a whole bunch of studies here to back this up but I could pull up many. I am going to keep it simple.

We know that anger and resentment are enemies to our spirit, our happiness and to our immune system. Right now, more than ever, we need to be supporting our immune systems.

With social distancing and not being able to see other people that we do care about and maybe even some we miss but we hold resentment toward, this is the perfect time to bring resolution to these situations.

I am sure we are all thinking deeply about our lives and what they mean to us and this includes our relationships. I am sure we all will agree that loving and peaceful relationships are the ultimate gift here on earth.

If you have no way to initiate resolution with someone that you are holding anger toward, or you feel helpless as to how to let it go, just take a baby step and let it go in your own heart ๐Ÿ’œ, knowing it does not serve you, especially at this time when the best thing we can do is anything that is good for our immune system.

Right now we need more Peace, more LOVE, more JOY, and more of anything that is healing and helpful to every cell of our bodies and is peaceful to our minds.

I hope you find that peace if you need it and I send strength and visions of health and happiness are sent your way, now and always and in all ways.

Tenderness & Kindness

Tenderness is a quality that will take you a long way in life.

When I saw this picture of the three hands, all I could think and feel was ‘tenderness’.


The synonyms of tenderness which are also beautiful:
affection, fondness, love, devotion, lovingkindness, emotion, 
sentiment, sentimentality,

I think my favorite synonym is the ‘lovingkindness’ one. Tenderness and loving-kindness are two beautiful gifts that we can give to both ourselves and others. If we treat all people through these two attributes, the world will be a much kinder and more peaceful world where love can shine through.

Be Kind

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. Be kind to animals. Be kind to plants. Be kind to the earth. The list of ways to practice kindness and tenderness are endless but it starts with tenderness for oneself. When one can feel the frequency of kindness toward oneself and experience its effects, one can project kindness out into the world. It’s kind of like a flashlight. When you charge your own kindness batteries you are able to project your light of kindness onto others. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our greatest strength lies in the gentleness and tenderness of our heart.

Self Love as Medicine

One of the greatest challenges people have is in loving themselves… truly loving themselves.

Self-Love is actually a form of Self-Medicine and should be put on the highest of highest priorities. In fact, if you have been hurt by others or even abused in some way shape, or form, it is even more important to learn self-love to balance out those energies. It is the ultimate paradox. The more pain one goes through, the more important it is that they heal through self-love, yet it appears harder to reach.

I invite you to entertain a new way of thinking. Over on my other blog (MaggieHolbikBlog) I have written about ‘Instant Forgiveness’ โ€œInstant Forgivenessโ€ for yourself and others because the moment we forgive, we give to ourselves the gift of the release of pain and suffering.” I also touch on self-love in this post. What if we entertained the thought of “Instant Self-Love”? We are in a time of quantum physics that includes time and space. Things do not need take a lifetime to achieve. I personally believe we are MUCH more powerful than we realize and we can truly change our lives in an instant. It does not have to be a drawn out and long painful process unless we choose that.

Many people seek love from others while neglecting themselves and then they pay the price of disempowerment and victim hood. Underneath this quest for love from outside ourselves is usually a feeling of not being worthy and not approving of ourselves. I invite you to look at the feelings you harbour around this and to use them as a catalyst for turning it around. Yes as a catalyst!! The more you feel inadequate or the more you have been ‘hurt’ by others, the more I suggest you say “dammit, I must love myself even more”. We’ve all heard the saying “If it’s to be, it’s up to me”. It is crucial in this case. I often think ‘man if we are not our own best friends, then who is?’

What ways can you show yourself self-love right now in this moment so that you can get your self-love train going. It’s no secret that the law of attraction always attracts more so the more you get the ball rolling, the more it rolls!

Here are some suggestions but there are many more available to you… endless in fact as we live in an infinite universe, but here are some starters:

Say “I Love Me”! “I Love Myself”
Smile at yourself in the mirror.
Give yourself a hug… right now. Just do it!
Talk to your 5 year old self and tell him/her that you are an adult now and you have their back.
Learn forgiveness…. it’s really about you and not them. Be Selfish ok? ๐Ÿ™‚
Read, Watch, Listen to things that tickles your soul and makes you ‘feel good’.
Avoid things that spread fear, doubt and the darker side of life.
Watch sunsets and sunrises as often as you can. They remind us that the sun always rises again.

En-JOY life as much as you can. LOVE life and it will LOVE you back. This my friends is the highest form of Self-Love that you can achieve.
